Make-up dates / reschedules: Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball will play a make-up doubleheader at Albia on Monday, January 19th, with the girl’s game starting at 6:30 pm.(One bus – 4:30 pm) The 9th and JV Boys and Girls will make up their games with Albia on Thursday night, Feb. 5th starting at 6:30 in the A and B gyms. The ninth grade games are first and they will be using two gyms at the same location. (One bus 4:30 pm) Boys and Girls 9-JV-Varsity teams will play make up games with Davis County on Tuesday, January 20th, starting at 4:45 pm with the boy’s games in Fairfield and the girl’s games at Bloomfield. (One bus 2:45 pm) Middle School wrestling will have a rescheduled meet at Burlington (Clarke Field House) on Friday, January 16th, starting at 4:30 pm (one bus 2:45 pm) .

Girls Volleyball Qualifies for State

2008 State Volleyball Pairings

State Volleyball tickets will go on sale Friday at Noon in the lobby of the High School gymnasium (Voting Area).  Tickets are 8 dollars.  The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union strongly encourages purchasing tickets in advance due to overflow and long lines at the US Cellular Center.  

Ticket Sales Schedule:

Friday, November 7th, 2008        -      12:00 pm to 4 pm - High School Gymnasium Lobby

Monday, November 10th, 2008   -       8 am to 12 pm - High School Gymnasium Lobby  

T-Shirt Orders: 

Shirts  will be available for pick up on Tuesday, November 11, 2008.

 

The Fairfield High School Trojan Volleyball team qualified for the 2008 Girls State Volleyball Tournament with an impressive win over Knoxville on Tuesday night in Oskaloosa.  The Trojans came out on fire with impressive 25-9 and 25-23 wins.  After dropping game three 15-25, the Trojans rebounded with the win in game four 25-23 sending them to the state tournament.  

8th ranked Fairfield will play 2nd ranked Marion on Wednesday, November 12th, at 7:15 pm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the US Cellular Center.  For more details please see the links below.
